The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment for frontline officers, frontline support and corporate support staff across the organisation, ensuring the QAS attracts the right mix of talent to deliver excellence in ambulance services to the Queensland community.

  • Well-developed experience in contemporary recruitment and attraction services, including end-to-end candidate management, attraction, assessment, selection and activities.
  • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of contemporary recruitment and HR legislation, principles and practices and the proven ability to apply that knowledge to provide advisory and consultancy services to management and staff on a range of complex recruitment and human resource management issues.
  • Demonstrated highly-developed interpersonal and communication skills and the proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships, liaise effectively and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve goals and meet deadlines, including the ability to deal with competing demands and manage multiple complex projects and tasks.
  • Whilst not mandatory, experience in large scale recruitment processes will be highly regarded.
  • The incumbent may be required to frequently travel on official business where the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.
