Job Description

Join Westpac’s Global Transaction Services (GTS) team as a Senior Associate, Project Implementation Manager and deliver seamless transaction banking solutions for some of Australia’s leading corporate and institutional clients.

What’s the role?

This is a full-time position based at Kent St Sydney.

In this client-facing role, you’ll manage the end-to-end implementation of payables and receivables solutions for transaction banking products for new to bank and existing Institutional Bank (IB) customers.

You’ll coordinate with key stakeholders, capture technical requirements, and ensure projects are delivered on time to the highest standard. You’ll work across a diverse range of WIB client sectors and manage a number of implementations at a time.

This is a niche role, where you’ll use your project management expertise to drive outcomes and deliverables then transition projects to BAU. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and want to make an impact by delivering solutions that matter to our clients, this is the role for you!

What do I need?

  • Two to three years project implementation experience is essential, with transaction banking exposures advantageous.
  • Proven understanding of implementation processes and project management methodologies (JIRA, Confluence, Agile, Waterfall, SDLC experience is preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage risks, resolve issues, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/ Finance, Project Management certifications desirable).
