Data Analyst

$90k-$100k + super

We're looking for a Data Analyst to join a growing data team and support the development of advanced analytical & AI capabilities across a large digital platform. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data pipelines, analytical frameworks, and insights generation - and wants to grow their data and analytical skillset in a hands-on environment.

You'll be working closely with data, supporting real-world business use cases, and contributing to analytics and modelling projects that impact customers and the business.



What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the development and improvement of analytical models and data assets

  • Building and refining data pipelines, features, and reporting frameworks

  • Working with Python and SQL across modern cloud-based data platforms

  • Assisting with implementation of AI or machine learning initiatives across the business

  • Analysing customer behaviour and engagement data to inform product, marketing, and retention strategies

  • Translating business questions into practical data and analytical solutions

  • Collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and non-technical stakeholders

  • Communicating insights and recommendations clearly to a range of audiences


What we're looking for

  • Around 3-5 years' experience in a data-focused or analytical role

  • Strong coding or query experience in Python, SQL, or Javascript

  • Exposure to machine learning or analytical model development

  • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts (pipelines, data quality, feature creation)

  • Familiarity with cloud computing fundamentals

  • Curious and practical mindset - comfortable getting hands-on and learning as you go

  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly and work collaboratively across teams


Nice to have

  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms

  • Exposure to Dataiku or other data science platforms

  • Familiarity with modern ML libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

  • Understanding of model deployment, monitoring, or MLOps concepts

  • Background in financial services, insurance, or member-based organisations
