The Public Safety and Mobility Hardware Development unit offers a comprehensive portfolio designed for reliable operation in demanding public transport environments. Our products — including passenger information displays, CCTV cameras, audio devices, train computers, and video recorders — are used in trains, trams, metros, stations, and stops. All solutions meet the highest international standards and support smooth, safe, and efficient travel.

We are now looking for a RAM LCC Specialist to join our team in Tampere or Forssa.

The RAM LCC Specialist is part of the HW Engineering team, working closely with product

management and customer project teams.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Product‑level RAM and LCC analyses and calculations
• System‑level RAM and LCC analyses and calculations
• Monitoring product performance and analyzing experimental data
• Communicating with customers on RAM and LCC topics
• Developing and managing the FRACAS process

Role overview

As a RAM LCC Specialist, you will bring essential expertise to both product development and customer projects. You will analyze new product designs to ensure reliability targets are met, as well as evaluate system‑level customer solutions. System‑level RAM and LCC calculations form a key part of your responsibilities. You will work in close collaboration with our customers, applying your knowledge to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering
• Experience in RAM analysis and calculations
• Knowledge of electronic products and components
• Understanding of information systems
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Good teamwork skills
• Fluent English language skills
