Chief SAP HANA Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and enhancement of complex SAP HANA native models using Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
• Oversee construction and upkeep of optimized ETL pipelines for integrating SAP and external data sources
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and implement scalable data architectures supporting analytics and reporting
• Supervise development of complete data workflows that guarantee accuracy, consistency, and timely results
• Deliver tailored analytics, KPIs, and actionable intelligence through SAP HANA backend systems
• Drive performance tuning of SAP HANA Platform and SAP HANA Cloud databases for intricate datasets and processes
• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to capture requirements and translate them into robust solutions
• Guide participation in Agile SAFe activities including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, standards, and shared practices for SAP HANA solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SAP HANA development with a focus on Platform and Cloud implementations
• Proven expertise in SAP HANA native modeling with Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
• Hands-on experience in designing and supporting ETL workflows in SAP environments
• Strong proficiency in performance optimization and database tuning for large-scale data sets
• In-depth knowledge of integrating SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or legacy systems into modern workflows
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, leveraging tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Exceptional problem-solving aptitude and troubleshooting expertise
• Excellent communication and partnership skills with cross-disciplinary teams
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) English proficiency for effective collaboration

• Industry experience in manufacturing or engineering
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere
• Understanding of SAP Data Intelligence
