Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to join an banking client. The ideal candidate is a team player who will work closely with stakeholders across the business to analyze company data, improve operational performance, and support data-driven decision-making. This role involves reporting key metrics, evaluating methodologies, suggesting operational improvements, and building business proposals in a cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track, analyze, and report business and operational data to support strategic and tactical decisions
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana
  • Analyze existing methodologies and processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Propose and support implementation of operational enhancements and efficiency initiatives
  • Build business cases and proposal evaluations for new initiatives and investments
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (IT, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance) and external stakeholders
  • Support budget planning, monitoring, and cost management activities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive market, industry trends, and best practices
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with banking regulations and internal policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with data visualization and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana is a plus
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional banking environment
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in banking or financial services
  • Knowledge of financial products, operations, and regulatory environments
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or other business analysis methodologies
  • Basic understanding of SQL or data querying tools is a plus


The role will be project based for 6 months to an year.
