Senior Technical Project Manager

In short

On's Technology team is forming a new group to drive our most critical cross-functional initiatives, and we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage key workstreams that will shape the future of technology at On. This role will be central to the delivery of large-scale company and Tech-led initiatives, such as those involving strategic partnerships, AI enablement, and the next generation of our core platforms. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and communicating progress on complex projects, ensuring we deliver on our most impactful goals.

Your mission

• Manage the execution of key technical projects, breaking down complex initiatives into clear workstreams and deliverables.
• Partner with technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones.
• Champion and contribute to our project management best practices, helping the team deliver with increasing efficiency and quality.
• Track and report on progress against project plans and key results using the right tools.
• Clearly communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to all stakeholders, from individual contributors to senior leadership.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and work with the team to resolve blockers, ensuring a smooth path to project completion.
• Facilitate strong collaboration and decision-making between engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment and drive outcomes.
  
  

Your story

• A proven track record in technical project management, with experience in program management being a plus, preferably within a fast-paced technology environment.
• Experience working with and reporting on KPIs and metrics to track project success.
• Familiarity with multiple project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to adapt them to a dynamic and fast-growing company.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, balance stakeholder needs, and facilitate trade-off decisions within your projects.
• Outstanding communication skills, with an ability to navigate complexity, build consensus, and articulate the rationale behind decisions with empathy and candor.
• You are a Jira (or similar tool) wizard, skilled at creating clarity out of chaos and breaking down complex technical work into manageable tasks.
