Cloud Solutions Architect Senior Consultant

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect Senior Consultant to join our Technology & Transformation team. This role will drive Deloitte’s cloud and AI solutions in the market, creating measurable value for our clients.

What you'll do:

As a Cloud Solutions Architect Senior Consultant, you will:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent education/work experience
• 6+ years of cloud architecture, design, implementation, and consulting experience
• Professional-level certification in at least one cloud provider: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, OR, Azure Solutions Architect Expert + Administrator Expert, OR, Google Cloud Architect + Associate Cloud Engineer
• Proven experience leading end-to-end cloud solution design and delivery for enterprise clients
• Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code at scale: Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi or similar (multi-environment, multi-region)
• Deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and DevOps practices: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, OR CircleCI
• Experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools is a plus
• Mastery of containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (production-grade cluster design and management), OR deep ECS/EKS/AKS/GKE expertise
• Comprehensive cloud architecture knowledge: Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, Security, Cost optimization
• Strong programming/scripting capability: Python or Go (ability to review code, design automation solutions), Bash or PowerShell for advanced infrastructure automation
• Production experience with microservices, event-driven, and serverless architectures
• Advanced expertise in monitoring, logging, and observability: Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, OR ELK Stack, SLO/SLI design and implementation
• Deep cloud security knowledge and hands-on implementation: IAM strategy, Zero Trust principles, encryption, network security, Compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, FedRAMP)
• Version control mastery and Git workflow leadership
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and guide technical teams
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams

Strongly Desired Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across multiple cloud platforms (AWS + Azure, or AWS + GCP, or all three)
• Architecture certification from multiple cloud providers
• Proven track record in cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
• Advanced FinOps expertise: Cost modeling, reserved instances, spot instances optimization, Chargeback models and cloud financial governance
• Service mesh design and implementation: Istio, Linkerd, Consul (production deployments)
• Advanced infrastructure security and compliance: Infrastructure scanning, policy-as-code (Sentinel, OPA, Azure Policy), Audit logging and forensics
• Data platform and analytics architecture: Data lakes, data warehouses, streaming architectures, Big Data and ML pipeline design
• Hybrid and multi-cloud networking expertise: VPN, ExpressRoute, Interconnect, SD-WAN, DNS strategies
• API gateway and service integration patterns
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Experience with incident response and resilience engineering
• Thought leadership through content creation, speaking, or open-source contributions
