What you'll do:
As a Data Engineering Consultant, you will:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience,
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering,
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle),
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Scala, or Java,
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native data services,
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modern analytics architectures (Lakehouse, DWH),
- Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar),
- Experience with data integration and ETL/ELT processes,
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka),
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems (Git),
- Understanding of data quality, data governance, and security best practices,
- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, Avro),
- Ability to optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills,
- Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) methods,
- Certifications in relevant data technologies,
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
