Job Description

As an IT Admin for our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our organization's IT systems. This include ensuring that our hardware, software, networks, and systems operate efficiently and securely. You will work closely with other IT professionals to support users and resolve any technical issues that arise. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure that our infrastructure remains robust and compliant with industry standards. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to manage the expectations and priorities of diverse stakeholders within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability for user requirements.
• Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability and security.
• Provide technical support to users by resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
• Implement and manage security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and threats.
• Maintain and update documentation related to network configuration and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Participate in the design and implementation of IT projects to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions to ensure appropriate access levels.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of IT infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures to safeguard organizational data and operations.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for upgrades.
• Train and guide users on best practices and use of IT resources effectively.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar qualifications are preferred.
