Required Skills & Experience
Domain expertise

• Solid understanding of digital payments ecosystem: card acquiring, alternative payment methods, payment routing, settlement flows, and reconciliation
• Experience with payment gateway or orchestration platforms, ideally in a B2B or B2B2B context
• Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance requirements and their product implications
• Understanding of merchant onboarding processes, KYC/KYB requirements, and risk assessment workflows

• Experience owning a product backlog, writing user stories, and working in agile environments
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Stakeholder management across technical teams, commercial teams, and external partners
• Data-informed decision making: defining KPIs, analyzing metrics, prioritizing based on impact

• Comfortable reading API documentation and discussing technical architecture with engineers

• Clear written and verbal communication, particularly for documentation and cross-functional alignment
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams
• Ability to manage competing priorities from multiple stakeholders
  

• Experience with iGaming, gambling, or high-risk merchant verticals
• Understanding of chargeback management, fraud prevention, and transaction monitoring
• Familiarity with specific payment schemes or regional payment methods relevant to your markets
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS products and white-label solutions is valuable
• Understanding of webhooks, REST APIs, and integration patterns
