🎯 We're Hiring: Scrum Master (Cloud Data & AI Focus) 🎯

Join us to lead and empower a high-performing 20-person engineering team specializing in cloud-native data science, machine learning, and analytics on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)!

What You'll Do:

🔹 Serve as Scrum Master for data science, ML engineering, data platform, and analytics teams working in GCP cloud environments

🔹 Coach teams, Product Owners, and the organization on Scrum & Agile best practices in cloud-based data and analytics settings

🔹 Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies with clear objectives and actionable outcomes

🔹 Establish metrics for team performance, delivery predictability, and cloud resource optimization

🔹 Proactively remove impediments and resolve complex cross-functional blockers across cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytics workflows

🔹 Drive continuous improvement through effective Retrospectives focused on cloud efficiency and data quality

🔹 Partner with Product Owners to maintain refined, prioritized backlogs for GCP-based data and analytics initiatives

🔹 Navigate the cloud data & AI product lifecycle including:

• Feature stores on GCP (Vertex AI Feature Store)
• Cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer)
• ML model deployment (Vertex AI, Cloud Run, GKE)
• Analytics dashboards and reporting (Looker, Data Studio)

🔹 Balance research, experimentation, and exploratory analysis with committed deliverables in cloud analytics environments

🔹 Define "Done" criteria for:

• Cloud data pipelines (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub)
• Data quality, integrity, and governance in GCP
• Analytics outputs and visualizations
• Cloud security and compliance standards

🔹 Manage dependencies and risks in large-scale GCP data, analytics, and AI projects

🔹 Understand and support team workflows involving:

• GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI
• Analytics tools: Looker, Tableau, Power BI integration
• Cloud infrastructure: IAM, networking, cost management

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent
• 3+ years as a Scrum Master for technical/engineering teams
• Experience with cloud-based projects, preferably GCP
• Understanding of data pipelines, analytics workflows, and cloud data platforms
• Familiarity with data science, ML, and analytics project lifecycles
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts (compute, storage, networking)
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work with distributed teams in cloud-native environments

Nice to Have:

• GCP certification (Cloud Digital Leader, Associate Cloud Engineer, or Professional Data Engineer)
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI, or Looker
• Background in data engineering, analytics, or data science
• Knowledge of MLOps, DataOps, and cloud DevOps practices
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and cloud project management tools
• Understanding of cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles
• Agile certifications (PSM, SAFe, ICP-ACC)
