Specialist – Scrum Master

Role purpose

As a Specialist - Scrum Master, you will lead cross-functional teams to provide agile-based project deliverables and facilitates the team's work to accelerate delivery of business value by ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies and processes. Facilitate internal and external communication, removes impediments, and serves as the intermediary between multiple product owners, managers, and team members.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead and Facilitate sprint sessions (planning sessions, iterations, retrospectives, demos etc)
• Support and educate Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Track and communicate team progress, sprint or release progress
• Support and educate Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product
• Mentoring and coaching Scrum team to install Agile values and principles and lead by example
• Keeping Scrum process on track and passing it to the team as self-organization matures and Coordinating across other agile teams for complex projects
  
  

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

• Advanced understanding of and experience with Software Development project life cycles, advanced project management skills
• Solid oral, written, and presentation strong interpersonal skills are required
• Must be able to ensure agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority
• Capable of completing independently diverse/complex work with minimal direction, diverse interactions, and knowledge resource
• Professional Scrum Master Certificate
• Identifies non-development dependencies related to delivery and Familiar with a scaled agile framework.
