Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Senior Manager or Head by providing detailed analysis and reports on the risks associated with new product and change or technological changes, offering recommendations on risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct independent risk reviews of key organizational projects, ensuring that change-related risks are identified, evaluated, and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide independent oversight of the first line’s change management activities, ensuring risk assessments are performed for significant projects and initiatives.
- Review and challenge IT and Infosec risk management processes, ensuring the robustness of IT security controls and alignment with risk appetite.
- Monitor and review first-line risk management activities, ensuring effective implementation of risk controls.
- Provide oversight on BCP and disaster recovery plans, ensuring they are tested regularly and remain fit for purpose.
- Assist Head in the planning of the Business Continuity Plan.
