As an Application Engineer you’ll shape high‑quality engineering solutions from design and documentation to testing, installation, and commissioning support. You’ll work closely with project teams to finalize secure‑by‑design concepts, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to customer proposals. Along the way, you’ll apply design‑for‑excellence principles, verify compliance with standards, and share best practices across projects.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Design, develop, and deploy robotic applications for industrial and commercial environments
- Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, conveyors, and other automation components
- Program and optimize robotic systems for performance, safety, and reliability
- Support commissioning, testing, and on-site troubleshooting
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver complete automation solutions
- Provide technical documentation and user training

Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, UR, Yaskawa)
- Experience working with PLCs and fieldbus systems (Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus, etc.)
- Solid understanding of robotics safety standards (ISO 10218, ISO/TS 15066, CE marking)
- Strong proficiency in robot programming languages and development environments and the ability to read, interpret, and create electrical and mechanical schematics
- Skills in robot offline programming, simulation, vision systems, sensors, and basic CAD tools
- Strong problem-solving, clear communication, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Fluency in Latvian and English allows for seamless collaboration with stakeholders
