Software Release Engineer

Responsibilities

• SW signing and SW release towards milestones

• Release SW Part Numbers and Documentation for every SW release milestone

• SUMS SW package manifest, Loadfiles manifest, Compliance Report

• Ensure Carcom and SDB diagnostic signal database are aligned

• Facilitating SW release approvals, deviations etc.

• Supplier SW release planning

• Supplier SW backlog management

• Supplier SW delivery follow-up

• QOP / Finance topics follow-up

• Supplier SW Joint Review (SWJR)

• Support Factory and Aftermarket through deviations

• Support SW release in factory

- Support sourcing process and documentation

- SWRS for BaseTech and Application (SWRS = Software Requirement Specification)

Experience / Background

• BSc degree in Software Engineering, or similar.

• Competence of SW release and configuration management in automotive industry.

• Familiar with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), SW variants management, SW branches management, and SW release documentation.

• Vehicle product development process in automotive industry

• SWAT. PIE R&D.

• Jenkins. ConfigHub. Victoria. Artifactory.

• KDP. TCPLM. Teamcenter. Carweaver.

• Carcom. SDB.

• TPDE. TPDS. DESD.

• QOP/VPC. Pecca Procost. Lotus Notes.

• Vira. Confluence.
