Overview

The Principle In-Country Value (ICV) Coordinator / Local Content Coordinator is responsible for administering, coordinating, monitoring and reporting the in-country value or local content requirements of the contract. The PPL ICV Coordinator ensures that the project ICV or local content target(s) are met and properly reported in accordance with the contract. The ICV Coordinator works with other functions that contribute to the ICV reports.

This position is an Individual Contributor role with specialized knowledge. The role directly reports to the Project Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities

Responsible for administering, coordinating, monitoring and reporting the ICV or local content in Oman in accordance with the contractual and statutory requirements;
Ensure that all relevant functional /department leads are aware of all ICV targets and requirements;
Work with the Project Manager and project team to set strategy for maximizing the ICV opportunities;
Manage and implement the Project ICV Plan;
Ensure the Project has in place an approved ICV Plan;
General administration, minutes keeping, etc;
Maintain up to date records of all information related to ICV;
Ensure that ICV requirements are flowed down on all vendors, suppliers and lower-tier subcontractors;
Follow up and ensure receipt of ICV documentation requirements from all vendors, suppliers and lower-tier subcontractors;
Provide guidance on the contractual and statutory requirements of the ICV; and
Other task as directed by the Project Manager or the Contracts Manager

Qualifications

Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience in the ICV administration
2-Year Associate Level Degree / Diploma required.

Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail;
Knowledgeable of Local County ICV principles and statutory requirements;
Proactively identifies, analyzes and offers solutions to problems;
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal;
Proactively embraces and promotes the company’s values and culture, including diversity & inclusion and a healthy and safe work environment;
Adept in Computers and current MS Office software programs such as word processing, presentations, email, spreadsheets and databases at an advanced level of proficiency; as well as the ability to learn and operate efficiently specialized software as related to the functional area;
Ability to develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships;
Ability to use good judgment and common sense, to make logical, cost-effective and sometimes critical decisions while working under high-pressure situations and within strict deadlines relating to ICV and related contract management functions; and
Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality.
