We are supporting a key Norwegian customer who is undertaking a long-term, security-focused cloud transformation programme. As part of this initiative, they are now looking for an experienced Azure specialist to lead the design and implementation of a secure Azure Landing Zone.

This role forms part of a wider platform and cloud build-out and will play a foundational role in shaping the organisation’s Azure environment from the ground up.

Norwegian citizenship is mandatory

Must be eligible for Norwegian Restricted security clearance

The Role

You will be responsible for designing and implementing a secure, scalable Azure Landing Zone aligned with governance, compliance and security best practices. The focus in the initial phase is on building a robust and secure foundation that can support future growth and workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a secure Azure Landing Zone
• Establish governance structures, policies and access controls
• Implement Azure security best practices across identity, networking and core services
• Configure and manage core Azure platform services
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and security requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to define standards and architecture

Required Experience

• Proven experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones
• Strong understanding of Azure governance, policy management and security frameworks
• Hands-on experience with core Azure platform services
• Solid understanding of identity, access management and network security within Azure
• Experience working in security-sensitive or regulated environments is highly beneficial
