Security Analyst

Security Analyst:

On behalf of our banking client, Procom is searching for a Security Analyst for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Security Analyst - Job Description:

The project involves uplifting the reporting space within GRC groups, focusing on defining, governing, and driving adoption of enterprise security performance metrics. The role includes partnering with cyber domain leaders to translate security strategy into measurable outcomes.

Security Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and evolution of security metric taxonomy

• Build and maintain a security metrics library

• Facilitate working sessions with security leaders for metric alignment

• Drive implementation of metrics into reporting workflows and tooling

• Develop executive-ready reporting packages

• Establish controls to ensure metrics accuracy and consistency

Security Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• 8+ years experience in cybersecurity metrics, cyber risk reporting, or related fields

• Strong understanding of security domains such as SOC, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud security

• Advanced Excel skills

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Comfortable presenting to executives

Security Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001

• Experience with metric automation tools like Splunk, ServiceNow

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC

• Experience in banking or financial institutions

• Experience building KPI/KRI governance programs

Security Analyst – Assignment Length:

This is an 8-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
