A leading investment firm operating is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to shape and execute its multi-market technology agenda. The organisation manages complex workflows across investment, operations, and governance, and is strengthening its use of data, automation, and AI to enhance decision-making. The CTO will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership while remaining closely involved in delivery, ensuring the firm's technology foundations, platforms, and security capabilities support its growth ambitions.

Role
The CTO will define and oversee the firm's technology roadmap, covering enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, engineering practices, and governance frameworks. This includes building resilient cloud or hybrid environments, implementing security controls, and establishing standards across architecture, vendor management, and development processes. The role leads the design and enhancement of internal platforms that support investment analysis, operations, reporting, and collaboration. A core component is developing and applying AI, automation, and data capabilities to improve productivity and generate insights, as well as providing structured technical assessments during investment due diligence. The CTO will also create repeatable diligence toolkits to evaluate technology, data, and AI maturity within potential investments and portfolio companies. The role requires close partnership with leadership teams, guiding technology choices and risk considerations while building and developing a high-performing regional team.

Requirements
Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with extensive experience in technology leadership within financial services, asset management, fintech, or similarly regulated settings. A background spanning both software engineering and enterprise infrastructure/security is essential. Applicants should bring hands-on experience implementing AI/ML solutions, modern data practices, and contemporary engineering approaches, with the ability to assess technical claims in diligence contexts. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively across multiple Asian markets and regulatory environments, are required. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential, as the role involves frequent engagement with China-based stakeholders.
