Role: Financial Analyst (Governance)

Job description:

• Candidate with the skillsets and experience to support Financial Governance & Digitalisation functions.

The key duties are as follow:

• Review internal regulations, policies and enhance the financial governance framework
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships and use of banking products and services
• Evaluate the financial health of tenderers
• Analyse financial data to support reporting needs, leveraging analytics and visualisation tools to provide meaningful insights
• Understand requirements and automate finance processes using digital tools to enhance operational efficiency

The contract resource may also be assigned other ad-hoc initiatives as and when required.

Minimum Required Attributes:

The contract resource must possess:

• Degree qualification – background in Accountancy or other relevant professional qualification with working experience in Finance
• Proficient in the use of open-source analytic tools (e.g. Python), visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Positive work attitude
• Good communication skills – written and verbal English

Compliance Requirements:

• The contract resource shall observe and comply with all applicable prevailing and new laws and regulations, Client's relevant methodologies, policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, Quality Management requirements, security requirements, audit requirements, and governance requirements.
• These include those relating to dress code, conduct, access to restricted areas and handling of classified information.
