Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our Human Resources Team in Sydney, reporting to our Head of Human Resources.


This role will deliver HR initiatives and provide strategic and operational support in designated aspects of the employee life cycle.


Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:

  • Provide advice, guidance and support to employees with HR queries in designated aspects of the employee life cycle;
  • Undertake day-to-day HR services including recruitment and selection, onboarding and offboarding, liaising with other stakeholders to ensure a seamless process;
  • Ensure employee records are appropriately set up in the Global HR systems as required;
  • Identify and coordinate employee engagement and wellbeing activities;
  • Assist in preparing HR analytics reports;
  • Assist in HR policy implementation, interpretation and training;
  • Work with local and Global HR management teams on relevant HR projects in accordance with scope, quality and timeframes;
  • Collaborate with the Head of Human Resources to support change management and organisational development initiatives;
  • Participate in ad-hoc HR projects as directed by management from time to time.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Human Resources role within the IT industry
  • Strong organisational skills and good time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills reflected through: collaborative, team player, flexible, adaptable, exercising diplomacy and confidentiality when required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong system knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new system/platforms
  • A "Can-Do" attitude and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills
  • Proactive, collaborative and approachable
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.
