Backend Engineer (Golang) — 3-Month Contract | Onsite in Paris

Rate: Up to €400 per day (depending on experience)

We’ve partnered with a fast-growing European tech company in Paris building secure, large-scale digital communication and user verification infrastructure used by millions globally.

They’re looking for a backend-focused Golang Engineer to join their team onsite for an initial 3-month contract (renewable). This role is strongly backend-oriented, with minimal frontend involvement.

Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer (Golang), you’ll design and build high-performance backend systems powering secure, large-scale platforms. You’ll focus on scalable APIs, distributed services, and infrastructure reliability in a production environment serving global users.

Frontend exposure (React) is helpful but secondary — this is a backend-first role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in Golang (primary focus).
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems with strong emphasis on concurrency and clean architecture.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
• Work with Node.js services and integrate with distributed systems.
• Write clean, modular, well-tested Go code.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning.
