Senior Program Manager

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join their team on a permanent basis

The position sits in their Dublin team with a strong focus on Product Development

This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days per week on site

Responsibilities:

• The management of project and program-level processes, driving forward execution, managing risk and continuous improvement across projects and programs,
• Working alongside hardware and software teams.
• Define on project scope and schedules to ensure on timely delivery of value to end customers
• Product development lifecycle, from R&D through verification and launch.
• Manage items such as resource constraints, time challenges, team landscape and efforts across all associated teams
• Collaboration with product, engineering, program, and all stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Manage and communicate the implementation of changes to planning objectives, schedules, and product configurations
• Provide regular status updates, highlighting accomplishments, plans, and any issues across your programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
• 6-8+ years of Program Management experience working directly with agile, product and/or platform teams
• Experience with hardware-enabled products or embedded devices is a major advantage for this role and client
• Strong understanding of full cycle Software Development and experience with hardware and embedded system development processes.
• Experience with agile software development and associated tools
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding time management and organization skills
• Adept in problem-solving, facilitating decision making and resolving conflict
• PMP is desirable
