iOS Developer

An opportunity for experienced iOS Developer to join a leading financial institution in Amsterdam. Together with your interdisciplinary team, you are responsible for the development and maintenance of multiple features that are used daily by a large customer base.

The position focuses on delivering high-quality code, you actively contribute to technical discovery, experimentation, and the adoption of new technologies. You will work in SCRUM framework and apply a DevOps mindset. Teams are empowered with autonomy and accountability, guided by solid engineering principles and a strong focus on quality

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of native iOS features using Swift
• Improving and resolving legacy code, including enhancing accessibility
• Proactively collaborating with your team to refine and design future functionalities
• Contributing to technical improvements and innovation

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Swift and iOS development
• Strong experience with both UIKit and SwiftUI layouts
• Experience working within a larger developer community or organization
• A proactive, clear, and productive communication style within teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience with modern Swift Concurrency
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and interface design principles
• Experience with the VIP Clean architecture pattern
• Ability to refactor and maintain Objective-C code
• Experience in financial services environments
• Experience with project modularisation
