We are seeking a highly experienced Network Architect with strong expertise in security, cloud environments, and customer-facing consultancy. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering large-scale, secure network architectures across enterprise environments.
This position requires end-to-end engagement with customers — from initial discovery and architectural design through implementation, optimization, and handover. Success in this role depends on combining deep technical knowledge with a security-first mindset and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, business-aligned solutions for stakeholders.
The role supports both on-premise and cloud infrastructures and demands strong consulting capabilities, strategic thinking, and confidence in guiding clients through complex network transformations.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and deliver large-scale enterprise and cloud network solutions
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, engaging directly with customers to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and explain architectural decisions clearly and confidently
- Lead customers through the full lifecycle: assessment, design, implementation, optimization, and handover
- Architect and implement secure connectivity solutions, including site-to-site and remote-access IPSec VPNs, as well as firewall and routing-based security designs
- Design and advise on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architectures, including the full stack: Identity Provider (IdP) integration, authentication & authorization (SAML, OIDC, MFA), device posture checks, application-level access controls, and policy enforcement and logging
- Build and review security architectures, including firewall rule design and segmentation, IDS / IPS concepts and deployment, and threat detection and mitigation strategies
- Design and support private cloud infrastructures, preferably using VMware (vSphere, NSX) or equivalent platforms (OpenStack, Hyper-V, cloud-native alternatives)
- Ensure designs align with security and compliance standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 and internal governance and audit requirements
- Work within ITIL-aligned processes (incident, change, problem management)
- Produce high-quality documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and security and compliance artifacts
Requirements
- 7+ years in a Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer role
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-grade, complex network designs
- Strong consultancy background with direct customer interaction and advisory responsibilities
- CCNP certification (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or equivalent hands-on expertise with Juniper or Arista
- Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, EVPN)
- Solid understanding of data center and WAN architectures
- Practical experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec on routers and firewalls
- In-depth understanding of network security architecture and best practices
- Expertise in firewall rule design and policy governance
- Experience working with IDS/IPS technologies and defining relevant use cases
- Proven implementation of Zero Trust security models
- Familiarity with security logging, monitoring frameworks, and incident response processes
- Experience designing and operating private cloud environments
- Strong expertise in VMware-based infrastructure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level)
