Machine Learning Engineer | Oslo, Norway

The Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and deploying scalable ML solutions in a modern, event-driven architecture.
Key responsibilities include:
Development & Design
- Designing and deploying ML solutions using an event-driven approach, integrating messaging services such as Kafka and Pub/Sub to enable real-time data flow and fast system responses.
Deep Learning
- Working hands-on with advanced deep learning techniques, including model training, evaluation, and implementing state-of-the-art models to solve complex business problems.
ML-Ops
- Building and optimising ML-Ops pipelines, covering CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management to ensure stable, production-ready ML systems.
Data Management & Modelling
- Managing, modelling, and preparing data for ML use cases. Including data collection, preprocessing, transformation, and ensuring high-quality datasets.
Platform & Cloud Work
- Developing scalable ML solutions using modern platforms such as Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
What They’re Looking For
- Higher education in IT, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing machine learning solutions
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks
- Experience with ML-Ops tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, and production ML systems
- Cloud experience with Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or AWS SageMaker
- Solid background in data management, data modelling, and working with large datasets
- C1 level Norwegian (spoken and written)
- Located in Oslo (or willing to be)
