Your Role and Responsibilities

• Work with a team focused on developing COBOL modernization tools, providing technical advice and strategy for the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams, product managers, security focals and designers to deliver secured and high-quality consumer experience.
• Research, analyse, design and implement effective solutions for short term and long-term need
• Enhance, Set-up and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipeline, that is maintainable and extensible
• Evaluate new technologies and software which are applicable to our product development
• Support our products, identify and fix root causes of issues, own troubleshooting and resolution of production issues across teams.
  
  
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Expertise in Web technology and Java development, including best practices to develop secure application, and
• reusable components
• Skills in at least three of the following: NodeJs, JavaScript, TypeScript, Web Components, React o Java
• Expertise in building CI/CD pipeline automation
• Experience/Expertise in software design, including prototyping and effective work break down
• Basic familiarity with zOS (Basic understanding of zOS, experience in working in zOS Unix and zOS MVS environment)
• Experience with remote development
• Has growth mindset, always on the lookout and advocating for next applicable technology
• Has agile mindset, aiming to automate tasks
• Skill in diagnosing/troubleshooting/debugging issues in complex environments "

• Knowledge of vs code extension development
• Knowledge of Eclipse Plugin extension development
• Experience developing/engineering enterprise-scale applications
