Role Description

  • CSO Corporate Security’s mission is to protect the Bank’s people, assets, infrastructure and information. The focus of the role is the implementation and execution of the global physical security standard to ensure employee security, safety and asset protection, and delivery of physical security in the India / Sri Lank geography is in line with the strategy set by the Global Head of Corporate Security.
  • In this role you will develop strong relationships within business, infrastructure and regional management to become the trusted advisor on physical security matters. You will directly report to the CSO Corporate Security Global Head and will be required to manage and deliver operational security and safety across the region.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern Corporate Security (CSO) operations in India/Sri Lanka, ensuring strategic alignment, robust controls, and efficient resource deployment.
  • Oversee daily security operations, including incident management, executive/event protection, and travel security, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Manage EHS operations and security investigations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with law enforcement, internal divisions, and senior management, acting as the primary security liaison.
  • Drive continuous improvement through risk assessments, process optimization, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing Corporate Security team, fostering a strong culture and professional growth.


Your Skills And Experience

  • Tertiary education in a relevant field (science/risk management) combined with extensive corporate security management experience in a global organisation (minimum regional level).
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate remote teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement and results-based performance in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional connectivity within the regional security sector, particularly in financial spheres, with essential connections to government and law enforcement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management within the security community, ensuring optimal task delivery and adherence to standards.
  • Strong project management, organisational, and analytical skills, enabling robust decision-making and clear communication (excellent written and spoken English essential).
  • Credible demeanour and executive presence, allowing for effective engagement with senior management, and a willingness to be available as needed.
