Software Engineer

Enertek Group is working in partnership with a North American fintech firm that is imminently expanding into the European market, with plans to establish a European hub in Switzerland.

As part of this expansion, the company is preparing to appoint a Software Engineer to support product development and technical execution during this critical growth phase.

This role will play a key part in building, adapting, and scaling the company’s technology for European customers while ensuring alignment with the global engineering strategy.

The position is scheduled to go live in mid-February.

At present, the role is under NDA until early March; however, we are keen to stay ahead of the process and begin initial conversations with suitable candidates in order to build a strong pipeline ahead of the formal launch.

Although the role is anchored in Switzerland, the company operates with a hybrid-first model, offering flexibility for remote work while maintaining a central presence in Switzerland.

As a Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions for real-world applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust products from concept to deployment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following modern engineering best practices.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Continuously improve development workflows, tooling, and CI/CD processes.
• Play a key role in building innovative technology solutions within Switzerland’s dynamic tech ecosystem.

💡 About You

• Strong experience in software development (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Solid understanding of software architecture, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Fluent in English; German or French is a plus.
