Contract Duration: 12 months

Rate: €300–€350/day (gross)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Web Developer & UX/UI Designer with a strong development background and solid experience in UI/UX design. The client is looking for a proactive, hands-on professional with stronger experience in frontend development than pure web design.

This role requires at least 5 years of professional experience, with proven expertise in design systems, UI development, and modern web technologies. Candidates with a personal website or portfolio are strongly encouraged to include it in their CV.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design and web development.
• Strong experience in design systems and UI development best practices.
• Proficiency with Figma or Penpot.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Git, and Visual Studio/VS Code.
• Solid understanding of Web Accessibility (WCAG standards).
• Experience working in collaborative and agile environments.
• Strong command of MS Office / Microsoft 365 tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, refactor, and test dynamic and responsive user interface components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and consistency across platforms.
• Design and implement website layouts, visuals, infographics, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Maintain and unify design systems to ensure harmonised interfaces across all sites.
• Monitor analytics and user feedback to continuously improve user experience.
• Collaborate using online tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in an ITIL environment.
