For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Generative AI / ML Engineer for a long contract based in Amsterdam.

Role Description

We are seeking a Generative AI / ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions using modern cloud and MLOps practices. The role involves working closely with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Generative AI models for NLP, computer vision, and multi-modal use cases
• Research, integrate, and fine-tune state-of-the-art LLMs for enterprise applications
• Develop and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Spark
• Build and maintain MLOps workflows for model deployment, monitoring, and versioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security standards, and responsible AI principles

Essential Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with ML/AI libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face
• Expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark, and distributed data processing
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud architecture and services (Data Lake, Synapse, Azure ML)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, MLOps practices, and model lifecycle management
• Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
