Research Associate

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion and curiosity for research on consumer durables/ cement/ metal / building material sectors.

Job Description:

• The associate will undertake detailed and focused sell-side research with an institutional focus on his assigned business sectors and companies.

• Understand and develop a thorough understanding of the sector and sub-sectors assigned

• Conduct detailed research (both primary and secondary) on the assigned sectors/companies

• Assist in writing and publishing detailed reports and updates (based on company results/major events) on assigned sectors/companies

• Assist in developing/maintaining/updating databases and periodical reports

• Work on client queries

• Attend analyst meets and corporate conference calls

Requirements:

• The associate should at least have a CA or be a MBA from a well-known institution.

• 1-2 years’ experience in equity research or related field.

• Candidates with CFA qualification or pursuing the program, will be preferred.
