The Senior GenAI Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, fine-tuning, and deploying Generative AI solutions across enterprise platforms and client engagements. The role combines hands-on LLM development, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, MLOps, and business-facing solution design.
This position collaborates closely with consulting, product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into scalable GenAI solutions with measurable impact, while ensuring responsible, secure, and compliant AI adoption.

The Senior GenAI Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, fine-tuning, and deploying Generative AI solutions across enterprise platforms and client engagements. The role combines hands-on LLM development, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, MLOps, and business-facing solution design.
This position collaborates closely with consulting, product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into scalable GenAI solutions with measurable impact, while ensuring responsible, secure, and compliant AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate Generative AI models including LLMs and multimodal models
- Develop and optimize prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and fine-tuning workflows
- Work with open-source and commercial LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LLaMA, and Mistral
- Implement guardrails, safety mechanisms, and hallucination mitigation techniques
- Partner with business, consulting, and product teams to identify and prioritize GenAI use cases
- Translate business requirements into scalable GenAI solution architectures and success metrics
- Define ROI, feasibility, scalability, and impact of GenAI initiatives
- Create solution blueprints, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate business value
- Design and manage data pipelines for GenAI training, fine-tuning, and inference
- Build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient GenAI systems for production environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams on deployment, monitoring, retraining, and optimization strategies
- Monitor model performance, latency, cost, and drift in production environments
- Ensure ethical, responsible, and compliant use of Generative AI
- Address data privacy, IP protection, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR
- Define and enforce GenAI best practices, standards, and usage guidelines
- Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and AI agents
- Fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, PEFT, instruction tuning)
- Python and GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, Haystack)
- Vector databases and embeddings
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring
- Enterprise solution design and consulting mindset
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication
- 5–9 years of experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, or AI development
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern GenAI frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with MLOps tools and production AI systems
- Experience in consulting or enterprise product environments (preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
