The Senior Network & Digital Security Engineer is responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of the Group’s network and digital security landscape across all entities. The role is network‑security–led, with integrated cybersecurity responsibilities spanning digital platforms, cloud environments, data, and enterprise systems.
The position leads the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of secure, resilient, and scalable network and digital security capabilities at a Group level.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Digital Security Strategy
• Define and maintain the Group-wide network and digital security strategy, architecture, and standards.
• Establish secure connectivity frameworks for on‑prem, cloud, hybrid, and multi‑cloud environments.
• Embed security into network design, digital platforms, applications, and data flows.
• Serve as the Group’s authority for network and digital security matters.
Network Security Architecture & Operations
• Architect, implement, and manage secure enterprise networks, including LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, Wi‑Fi, and data center networks.
• Administer next‑generation firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, and ZTNA solutions.
• Manage secure connectivity across entities, partners, and remote users.
• Drive network segmentation, encryption, identity‑based access, and high‑availability designs.
• Ensure reliability and performance for mission‑critical systems.
Digital & Cyber Security
• Integrate cybersecurity controls across digital platforms, applications, cloud infrastructure, endpoints, and privileged environments.
• Oversee threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response aligned with network and digital security operations.
• Ensure secure data transmission, access controls, and protection of sensitive assets.
Security Operations, Risk & Governance
• Lead daily network and digital security operations, including monitoring and response.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and operating procedures.
• Conduct Group‑wide risk assessments, audits, and posture reviews.
• Ensure alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers across entities and manage vendors and service providers.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
• Enhance Group security maturity, resilience, and automation.
• Track emerging threats and technologies, applying best practices proactively.
• Support modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Experience & Qualifications
• 10+ years’ experience in Network Security / Digital Security within large or multi‑entity environments.
• Proven ownership of enterprise network security architecture and operations.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in network security design, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF, and cloud/hybrid security.
• Demonstrated ability to architect, operate, and improve security capabilities.
Preferred
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Security, CISSP, CISM, and vendor certifications (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
• Exposure to OT, IoT, or smart building security.
• Strong network‑first security mindset with integrated cybersecurity expertise.
• Strategic yet hands‑on execution capability.
• High accountability and risk awareness.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
