Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote team in Brazil. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure while driving DevOps best practices across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and ensure seamless application deployments in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Microsoft Azure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps with YAML or Bicep to automate the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in deployment automation
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures in cloud environments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Work with container technologies including Docker, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to deploy and manage containerized applications
• Utilize API Management (APIM) or other Layer 7 technologies to manage APIs and ensure secure and efficient service communication
• Implement Application Insights for monitoring and diagnostics
• Manage secrets and sensitive data using Azure Key Vault
• Design and implement Azure Active Directory (AD) authentication workflows and app registrations
• Configure and manage networking solutions including Virtual Networks (VNet), Azure Firewall, and Azure Front Door
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to scalable and resilient system design
• Provide technical support and guidance to development teams on cloud technologies and DevOps practices
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and DevOps

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cloud computing and DevOps practices
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and C
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker, Azure Container Apps, and AKS
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management using YAML or Bicep
• Familiarity with API Management (APIM) or other Layer 7 technologies
• Experience with Application Insights for monitoring applications
• Knowledge of Azure Key Vault for secure secret management
• Understanding of Azure Active Directory (AD) app registrations and authentication workflows
• Familiarity with networking concepts including Virtual Networks (VNet), Azure Firewall, and Azure Front Door
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
