Enertek Group is partnering with a leading financial services organisation based in Stockholm, Sweden, specialising in investment management and digital financial solutions for both private and institutional clients. As part of their continued innovation and AI-driven transformation strategy, they are expanding their advanced analytics and engineering capabilities.


On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer who is currently based in Sweden to support the design, development, and deployment of scalable machine learning solutions that enhance business intelligence, risk analysis, and client-facing digital services.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI within a regulated financial environment, contributing to high-impact systems that directly influence strategic decision-making and customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, risk modelling, and data-driven decision support.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready ML systems.
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for model training and inference.
  • Deploy models using APIs, microservices, or batch processing architectures.
  • Monitor model performance, manage retraining processes, and address model drift.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data governance policies, and security best practices.
  • Contribute to ML system architecture and infrastructure decisions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote engineering and MLOps best practices.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automation of ML workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and performance.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer in an enterprise environment, ideally within financial services or fintech.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with model deployment and MLOps practices.
  • Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets.
  • Understanding of model monitoring, drift detection, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Swedish is considered a plus.
