Experienced Network Engineer (LAN/WiFi/Security)

Are you an experienced Network Specialist who thrives on solving the complex problems? We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our Client’s Global Support Operations Centre. This is a high-visibility role where you will be responsible for the stability and security of our enterprise LAN, Wireless, and Firewall infrastructure across the globe. You will act as a technical lighthouse for our L1 teams and a key partner to our Architectural L3 teams, ensuring that our worldwide connectivity remains resilient and high performing.

Location: Warsaw (Hybrid / Remote)

Position Level: Mid-to-Senior (Level 2 Support)

Key Responsibilities

• L2 Expert Support: Lead the resolution of complex incidents within our global Cisco-centric LAN and WiFi environments.
• Firewall & Security Governance: Own the lifecycle of firewall rule management (Cisco ASA/Firepower). You will review, implement, and audit security policies to protect global data flows.
• Wireless Excellence: Maintain and optimize Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Access Points, ensuring high-density performance and secure guest/corporate access.
• Network Hardening: Execute standard-to-complex changes on Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms, ensuring all configurations align with global security baselines.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead the investigation into recurring network outages, providing detailed reports and long-term remediation plans.

Qualifications & Tech Stack

• Experience: 4+ years in Network Engineering, specifically in an L2 or L3 support capacity within a global organization.
• Cisco Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Cisco Wireless architectures.
• Security Proficiency: Proven experience managing Enterprise Firewalls (rules, objects, and VPN tunnels).
• Monitoring & Tools: Familiarity with Cisco DNA Center (Catalyst Center), SolarWinds, or ServiceNow.
• Certifications: CCNP Enterprise (Routing & Switching/Wireless) is highly preferred. CCNA is a minimum requirement.
• Global Collaboration: English- business/professional level.
