Sr. Data Scientist - Remote

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in leading the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning strategy. This includes developing and deploying advanced AI/ML models to drive business growth and enhance decision-making processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to solve complex problems and have the opportunity to mentor junior team members. Your expertise in AI/ML will be essential in shaping new analytics methodologies and practices that have a profound impact on the organization.

Accountabilities

• Lead development and execution of AI/ML strategy.
• Develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain predictive models using Python.
• Utilize expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) for innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems.
• Work with data engineering teams to design data pipelines.
• Prepare and complete predictive analytics analysis and modeling.
• Participate in developing predictive analytics presentations.
• Contribute to projects yielding actionable business insights.
• Identify data anomalies and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and libraries like NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with R and other programming languages.
• Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with big data platforms like Databricks.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Teamwork experience in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
• Commitment to model testing and continuous improvement.
