AML Reporting Analyst

This is with one of our Banking client.

We are hiring a detail-oriented professional to support regulatory reporting obligations within a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. This role requires strong analytical ability, intermediate Excel skills, and a solid understanding of AML and reporting controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily workflows aligned with regulatory reporting requirements
• Monitor and identify risks related to money laundering or terrorist financing
• Execute and oversee reporting processes, including maintenance and determination of exempt entities
• Prepare and manage large transaction reports received from partner teams
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of reporting deliverables
• Identify gaps in reporting and contribute to continuous process improvements
• Collaborate closely with FINTRAC reporting teams and business partners

Required Skills & Experience

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (managing worksheets and large data sets)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and build business knowledge

Nice to Have

• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) reporting experience
• AML experience within a regulatory or financial services environment
