Data Scientist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage data to uncover actionable insights, build predictive models, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong statistical knowledge, programming expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources
• Develop and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business strategies
• Design and implement data-driven experiments and A/B testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and leadership
• Communicate findings through visualizations, dashboards, and presentations
• Optimize data processes and improve data quality standards
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related role (experience level may vary)
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
• Experience with SQL and working with large databases
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch)
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling techniques
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to translate technical insights into business value
