Forte Group is looking for Automation QA Engineer to join an agile team where your role will be in developing core automation framework and implementing automated tests that verify particular functionality of the AUT. Our automated test practices include Smoke, Regression, API-level and Functional test suites in multiple product areas.
Our client provides leading technology and services to the golf industry across the United States and Great Britain including software that manages tee sheets, points of sale and reservation services with a focus on providing great experience for golf players and smooth operation of golf courses. The project is a leading online service helping golfers book tee times and track their scores at more than 3,000 courses worldwide.
You will be working as a part of a dedicated agile team with a high level of responsibility for technical decisions and daily collaboration with colleagues abroad.
Responsibility
- Develop automated test scenarios and test suites
- Provide clear reporting over the automated tests execution
- Review and approve PRs, provide feedback on code improvements
- Writing and maintenance of test cases
- Validation of new functionality
- Contribute into continuous improvement of the product testing strategy
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing maintainable, high-quality, and efficient automated test scripts in TypeScript, JavaScript
- Knowledge of different test frameworks like Selenium WebDriver (WebdriverIO preferably)
- Experience in Web/Mobile/REST API testing
- Experience using Postman for API testing and automation
- Understanding of QA processes, approaches, methodologies and ability to apply the knowledge into daily operation
- Experience producing test assets (requirements gathering, test cases, test scenarios)
- Experience with software testing (Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, User Acceptance Testing)
- Experience with configuration management and CI platforms (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with source control management tools (Git preferred)
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum process and how it pertains to the QA life cycle
