Salary: £70,000 – £85,000

Are you a seasoned Senior Engineer with strong expertise in Go and AWS, and ready to take on a pivotal role in building high-performing platforms? This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, scaling tech business that’s delivering cutting-edge solutions to a global market.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a team working on the development of an industry-leading product right from the ground up. This role blends hands-on coding, R&D of new technologies, and solving complex technical problems, while collaborating across disciplines to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software.

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example through coding, design, and problem-solving, setting the bar for technical excellence.
• Take ownership across the stack: backend (Go) and AWS infrastructure, some exposure / capacity to work on the front end with React / Remix would be great but not essential.
• Contribute to technical design and bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Drive automation and scripting across MacOS and Linux systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Mentor colleagues, supporting their growth through reviews, pair programming, and open collaboration.
• Partner with product and design teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout.

What You’ll Bring

• A generalist mindset, comfortable moving across technologies and frameworks.
• Strong AWS and Go experience
• React / React Native experience is a big plus but not essential
• A passion for problem-solving and tackling challenges that don’t have straightforward answers.
• Excitement for working in an early-stage product environment where you can help shape architecture and ways of working.
• Adaptability, ownership, and a collaborative nature.
