About The Role

IO Associates is seeking an experienced SC Cleared Android Developer to join a reputable consultancy client on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely, with occasional days in London, contributing to the development of cutting-edge mobile applications. The position is initially for four months, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications, ensuring they meet the client’s specifications and standards. The role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background in Android development, who can deliver innovative solutions within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess proven experience in Android application development, with a solid understanding of the Android SDK and Android Studio. Proficiency in Kotlin is essential, along with a good grasp of integrating and working with APIs. Candidates must hold an active SC (Security Check) clearance and demonstrate a track record of delivering secure and reliable mobile applications. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Benefits
