Employment: Permanent Role
Experience: 5+ years
Location: Sydney, Australia - Hybrid
Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution.
- Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with policies.
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams on projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or similar networking devices.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, BGP, OSPF, and routing protocols.
- Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.).
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS / Azure) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA / CCNP preferred.
