Mobile Automation Test Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer to join an Agile, multidisciplinary team within a leading business banking environment. You will contribute to end-to-end digital solutions (mobile & web) serving enterprise clients, working across frontend mobile applications and backend cloud systems.

You will play a key role in strengthening the team’s automation maturity, ensuring high product quality, and supporting continuous improvement within an Agile transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

🧪 Test Automation & Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (Android & iOS) using Appium and Selenium (Java).
• Implement and maintain BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and non-functional testing.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with detailed logs and replication steps.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts and application issues across environments.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of automation frameworks.
• Maintain documentation of automation frameworks and processes.

🔄 CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize test coverage.
• Support testing activities in cloud environments.

📱 Mobile Testing Expertise

• Hands-on experience testing Android and iOS applications.
• Appium setup and device inspection for both real and virtual devices.

• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Contribute beyond testing discipline when required to achieve sprint goals.
