Job Description

• Client has a data and information platform in Microsoft Azure Databricks. We want to use Databricks' Data Engineering and AI/ML components to build 'Time-series', EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis), TS models and industrialized Time-series solutions. The Time-series cases mainly have to do with "forecasting" and/or "anomaly detection" of energy or utility-related problems. (injection/collection)
• For these cases, we are looking for an ML time series engineer with strong data engineering skills who is able to set up the right ML approach, EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) analyses, define datasets and build and evaluate ML models. He or she is a specialist in data (in ML context) and machine learning (with experience with Deep Learning and Time Series) who is also able to autonomously formulate and develop creative ideas or technical approaches. He or she is experienced in industrializing ML use cases, including setting up and maintaining the necessary data/preprocessing pipelines and deploying the developed models in a production environment. He or she understands the business context very well and systematically communicates progress and discusses the results with the client business owners.
• We expect this person to have the necessary skills to convert a business need into solutions that create demonstrable value and can be easily industrialized.
• We expect that the person offered can fall back on the knowledge that is available in their company. The following criteria will be used here:
• The person offered has a long-term, good integration and network within the AI-Machine Learning company.
• The company has AI and Machine Learning as a strategic activity.
• A separate document must be attached with the above items, as well as how the candidate supplier intends to fill in the fall back on company knowledge.
• We are specifically expecting someone from the AI-ML world, with a specialist mindset, including the necessary IT skills.
• This process is being tackled on a project basis under the leadership of client and in collaboration with client colleagues.

Must Have

• Proven experience in a role as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer 3 Years – Medior
• Proven experience in developing and deploying ML models in production environments
• Demonstrable experience with the technology in question or a similar technology 3 Years – Medior
• Demonstrable experience with MLflow -Yes
• Proven experience with Python 3 Years – Medior
• Demonstrable experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch - Yes
• Demonstrable experience with Numpy, Pandas, sklearn - Yes
• Proven experience with PySpark and SQL - Yes
• Demonstrable experience with Time Series and ML models (ARIMA, LSTM, Light GBM, etc.) 2 Years – Medior
• Vendor has AI and Machine Learning as a strategic activity Yes
• Supplier provides a separate document describing how the candidate can leverage company knowledge in AI and Machine Learning Yes
• Higher education (Master or Bachelor) or equivalent through experience Yes
• Language requirement: Dutch or English at European CEFR level C2 Yes

Should Have
