Remote Head of Innovation Strategy

This role is crucial in shaping the Innovation Department from the ground up, directly collaborating with the Chief Innovation Officer. Accountabilities

• Act as a true force multiplier for the CIO.
• Translate vision and strategy into clear priorities, sequencing, and executable plans.
• Ensure executive alignment: articulate and align innovation initiatives within the leadership team.
• Maintain visibility on the innovation portfolio and track the progress and outcomes.
• Quickly identify and resolve constraints and risks to prevent slow momentum.
• Design and manage the operations of the Innovation Department.
• Define processes and execution rhythms that convert ideas into scalable outcomes.
• Drive end-to-end execution by structuring experimentation and aligning cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate successful knowledge transfer to core teams for sustainable innovation.
• Enable governance frameworks that balance speed and accountability.
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in English for daily communication with international colleagues.
• 10+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or consulting in a high-growth setting.
• Strong technical understanding and experience working with engineering or product teams.
• Demonstrated experience in taking initiatives from 0 to 1 and navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strategic mindset.
• High emotional intelligence and discretion in partnership roles.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive ownership mentality.
• Experience supporting C-suite executives in fast-paced environments is preferred.
