Your Role
We are looking for a Systems Engineer (m/w/d) to join our agile and international team. In this role, you will primarily be operating and maintaining the following workstation and server components to prevent attacks on KN assets and data breaches: Anti-Virus and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR); Enterprise-grade proxy (Web Gateway); Vulnerability Management; Security KPI’s. In this role, you will play a key part in making our business compliant and trusted. You will enable our operations and business products by contributing throughout the entire lifecycle of these solutions - from ideation to implementation, iteration, integration, and maintenance. Your Role
We are looking for a Systems Engineer (m/w/d) to join our agile and international team. Your Responsibilities
- Deep understanding of the needs of Systems Engineers in Cyber Security (CIRT, etc…). Drive requirements and strategy for the collection, analysis, and operationalization of cyber security data.
- Collaborate with product owners, end users and other stakeholders to gather product requirements.
- Extensive work with data sources: querying variety of APIs and databases
- Building automation scripts
- OS-level root cause analysis (Windows and Linux)
- Identify and document business cases, requirements and, if needed exceptions.
- Define and manage product roadmap. Identify gaps, suggest best practices to enhance security posture. Continuous improvement of our processes and working methods.
- Perform vulnerability and compliance scans and evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
- "You Build It, You Own It" - the team is responsible for the whole software lifecycle.
- Writing automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- SQL Server (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) administration knowledge.
- Deep understanding of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) internal working – like kernel processes, privilege levels, etc.
- Deep understanding of EDR and AV solutions.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or alternative cloud experience is a big plus.
- Experience with vulnerability scanners and working with other teams for remediation.
- Understanding of Information Security goals to link technical capabilities to strategic vision and business needs.
- Ability to document, present and explain technical details clearly and concisely both written and verbally.
- Ability to learn, understand and adopt new technologies.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English.
