We develop digital solutions and sustainable business models for relevant markets. Together with our partners, we play to our strengths in research and innovation projects as well as for established customers. Our current focus is on applications for e-health, smart industry, IoT, digital twin, gamification, machine learning/AI and e-learning. Our international team from 22 countries consists mainly of developers, designers, artists and entrepreneurs. Our team combines competences such as software engineering, game development, 2D/3D animation, AR, MR & VR development, UI/UX design and IoT.

For Our Frontend Team In Cologne We Are Looking For An Experienced Person In The Field Of Frontend Development - Web. Our Colleagues Develop Web-based Applications In Close Coordination With The Design And Backend Teams Based On HTML5, JavaScript And CSS For Various Applications And Platforms. You Will Actively Support Our Unit Manager And, Together With The Team, Ensure That Projects Are Implemented Professionally And "state Of The Art". The Following Tasks Await You

  • Implementation of complex, responsive and high-performance web applications and websites
  • Optimisation and further development of existing frontends
  • Coordination of tasks using agile methods
  • Organising the workflow and ensuring the quality of results
  • Managing repositories and externals
  • Close collaboration with UI/UX designers and backend developers
  • Advising project managers on technical questions and requirements

Profil

  • Valid work permit for Germany is required!
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive expertise and profound know-how in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, LESS, JavaScript and TypeScript
  • You know at least one framework or library (React, Angular or Vue) and at least one responsive framework (Bootstrap or Foundation)
  • You are familiar with test frameworks (e.g. Mocha, Chai)
  • And you are also fit in the use of REST APIs
  • You have completed training as an application developer, a degree (BA/MA) in computer science / business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Knowledge of version management (Git, SVN) and agile development methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) round off your profile
  • You are confident in English, as the team language is English
  • And you are generally well organised and can juggle several projects at the same time

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Node.js, Docker and Jira
  • PHP and databases as well as in integrated development environments from JetBrains. (WebStorm, PHPStorm)
  • Workflow automation: Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, npm, yarn
